I don’t but you have added books to my list. Eating Stone… anyone who has camped in the rocks and participated in a windy camp knows the feeling true grit in the teeth.
I have just recently found your writing, and I am deeply appreciative of your efforts to poetically raise awareness about the lands and waters that you so deeply treasure, as do I. Denver, one of those cities built upon the diversion of precious Colorado water east across the Divide, may be my current home, but I care deeply about all of the Southwest and in particular eastern Utah, where an extended backpacking trip last fall in the Bears Ears area was among the most impactful wilderness experiences of my young life so far. I hope you have some more wonderful adventures this year, and I am excited to see what your next projects look like. I will eagerly seek out the books you have already written and also share your writing with other people I know who care just as deeply about this region and its water. It won't be an easy year for the Colorado, or the rest of the country and the world for that matter, but that's all the more reason to get to know it deeply, cherish it, and fight for it; thank you so much for being among those leading the way in those efforts.
Thank you so much, Bart! I am encouraged to hear the perspective and investment in reading about these environmental issues from a young writer like yourself. Keep it up!
Thought the leopard swimsuit was a nod to Georgie White!
Wishing you success on your new ventures, Morgan
Thank you!
This post is superfantastic in every way!
Ellen Malloy for the swimsuits!
Winner winner! Bonus if you know the quotes.

The leopard-print swimsuit is obviously for Georgie White. The CCRevival t-shirt must be for their version of the song "Rollin' Down the River."
Really sad to hear this about Hole in the Rock Road
Moi aussi! Ellen and Georgie!
Or perhaps Ann Zwinger, though the leopard print often points to Georgie . . . ;-)
Leopard is Georgie White. Neon orange traffic zone suit is Ellen Meloy in Raven’s Exile.
Ha, saw that leopard suit plenty on the river. Never did get to see the orange suit, sadly. Thanks for carrying the torch, @Morgan Sjogren!
